Celebrate the New Year all day in Bemidji with a variety of family friendly activities! Different venues in downtown Bemidji will host activities throughout the day on Saturday, December 30th. See the list below for information about each activity and host location. This is the sixth year of coordinated New Year’s activities in downtown Bemidji for families. The events are sponsored and hosted by: Bemidji Parks and Recreation, Bemidji Public Library, Beltrami County Historical Society, Calvary Chapel, Harmony Foods Co-Op, Headwaters School of Music and Art, and Headwaters Science Center.
9:30a-10:30a Headwaters Music & Arts. Instrument petting zoo and face painting. Free.
10:30a-11:15a Bemidji Public Library. “Magic of the Holidays” Magic Show with Robert the Magician. Free.
10:30a-12:00p Harmony Co-op. Good Food for the New Year Snack Time! Take a break from the New Year's Eve fun with a family snack stop at Harmony Co-op. Free
11:00a-2:00p Headwaters Science Center – “NoiseMAKERs” event featuring hands-on “maker” activities including cardboard forts and refreshments. Ball drop at noon. Activities included with admission to HSC ($7 adults, $6 Seniors and Military, $5 children (2-11), under 2 are Free).
2:00p-3:30p Bemidji Parks and Recreation. Sledding and hot chocolate at Library Park (weather permitting). Free.
4:00p-6:00p Beltrami County Historical Society – History Mystery– a live action game of Clue for the entire family. Doors open at 4, Game at 4:30.
$20/person, $15/BCHS members, Kids 12 & Under free with paid adult. BCHS Members, bring a friend for the member price. Space is limited.
6:00p-7:00p Calvary Chapel – The community is welcome and invited to a Community Worship Service.
